I understand those feelings and I have said those exact things myself. Being self-taught I well know the struggles that come at the beginning.

The reason I put together this workshop is to help you move past that critical inner voice and show you that you can produce something beautiful, even if you have never even painted before. Through fun, easy-to-follow painting lessons you are going to walk away with 4 beautiful and complete watercolour floral paintings. Not only that but I will gently be equipping you with techniques and skills that will build a foundation for your art practice.

Day 1

Lavender Fields

In this lesson we will be painting a pretty lavender field. I will also be introducing you to some specific watercolour techniques.

Day 2

Playful Meadow

This second piece is a more a fun abstract concept, I’ll be showing you how to expand our brush stroke techniques as well as play with colours, bleeds and wet-on-wet.

Day 3

Blossom

Learn to paint a front facing floral. To finish this composition we will add some side flowers, buds and leaves.

FINAL DAY EVENT

Day 4 - Presentation

Join me on the final day of the watercolour workshop where I will share tips on how to move forward on your watercolour journey. I’ll also be sharing our last painting tutorial for the week - “Wildflower Bouquet”

Wildflower Bouquet

This painting will be a little more detailed and we will paint together a pretty floral bouquet. We will talk about how to incorporate movement and flow within your floral paintings.

My name is Aurelia, I’m a self-taught artist and designer. Over the last decade, I’ve licensed my floral designs to companies like Minted & Adobe.

I have a massive passion for teaching others what I’ve learned and I’m ready to share some of my secrets to loose floral painting with you.

By the end of this workshop, I want you to feel more confident with your brush, to have embraced some new techniques and most of all, have had some fun!

The Details -

  • The workshop is being held over 4 days - 12th-15th March 2024. The workshop classes will be hosted on my website and there will also be a pop-up private Facebook group held especially for this workshop.

  • Look out for emails from me, I will be sending you links each day of the workshop.

  • I’ve taken some of the most common challenges that come with painting watercolour flowers and distilled them into this workshop.

    In just a few days, you'll create not one, but four beautiful and complete watercolour floral paintings. These aren't just random exercises; each lesson is carefully designed to build your skills and confidence as well as build your knowledge of various watercolour techniques.

  • Each day includes high-quality video tuition. I will also be active in the private Facebook group and I will be on hand to offer feedback, answer questions and cheer you on!

  • This workshop is aimed at complete beginners so even if you have never picked up a brush before you will come away with more confidence in painting with watercolour.

  • Don’t worry, the content will be available for a few more days after the whole workshop has been completed, but only registered members will be able to access it, so make sure to still sign up.
