If you’ve ever wanted to try using inks to paint flowers, this is the class for you. We’ll take it one petal at a time, so the ink does the beautiful part and you stay in control.

  1. Create loose, expressive florals

Paint flowers that feel fresh and free, without overworking them.

  2. Make your florals look refined and artistic

Loose doesn’t mean messy. You’ll learn what makes a painting look finished.

  3. Understand how much water to use

The secret to soft, flowing ink, and the bit most people find hardest on their own.

  4. Get confident with using inks

Bold colour stops feeling scary once you know how it behaves on the paper.

Your teacher

Hello, I’m Aurelia

I’m a Scottish artist, and I’ve been teaching floral painting since 2013. I’m self-taught, so I know what it’s like to learn something one small step at a time.

In Petal I’ll show you how I use inks to paint bold, expressive flowers, and how much water to use so they stay soft and flowing.
