In this project, we dove into the beautiful and imaginative work of Odilon Redon, a 19th-century French artist known for his vibrant floral paintings.

The project begins with an explore video where we try out new techniques, colours or supplies. This video gets you excited about diving into our project together.

3.1 Skills Class
Every skills class draws on different techniques that help with floral art. Within this project we learned how to draw inspiration from another artist. We looked at how to study an artist's work and use their techniques to spark creativity in our own floral paintings.

4. Guided-Paint Along
Every month we have a guided painting tutorial where we draw on all the techniques we learned throughout the month.
In this month’s class we started with a watercolour abstract background then added our floral vase on top and floral composition.

WHO IS AURELIA?
I’ve been a professional artist for over 10 years now, though it still feels a bit surreal to say. Maybe that’s because I’m completely self-taught! I learned everything from scratch, and honestly, that’s become my superpower. I know firsthand how overwhelming those early days can be, which is why I’m here to make the ride a little smoother for you.
These days, I work with my husband, and together we sell my art through commissions, licensing deals, and digital graphics. Somehow, my designs have found their way onto products around the world (I’m still pinching myself!) and I’ve had the chance to work with companies like Minted and Adobe.
But what really lights me up is sharing what I’ve learned with others. I want to show you that the creative journey doesn’t have to be intimidating—and maybe even add a little fun along the way. So, let’s paint, explore, and see where your art can take you. I’m here to show you that no matter where you are in your artistic journey, anything is possible.

While florals are always at the heart of the membership, the format can vary from month to month. Some months include guided paint-alongs and skills classes, while others may feature live sessions, Q&A classes, or Feedback Corner. This flexibility allows the membership to stay fresh, responsive, and supportive of how members are actually creating. You will also have access to the Private Facebook Community: Share your journey and get inspired by fellow artists. Plus constant access to the ever-growing library of past art tutorials and lessons.

There sure is! The community is hosted within a private Facebook group and is a fun space where you can share your work and gain inspiration and encouragement from fellow floral art lovers.

The membership doesn’t provide unlimited one-to-one feedback, I’m active in the Facebook group and at live events offering support. Plus, within the Facebook community, there is a range of artists of varying skills and backgrounds who offer support and encouragement. You’ll also find plenty of feedback and inspiration from fellow members, so don’t be afraid to ask.

Any artwork that you have produced by following any tutorials or lessons created by me is fine to share, sell and design with. However, I do encourage you to put your own spin on the content you create and make it uniquely yours, that way you’ll really develop as your own artist.
Content you create by following guest artist's videos may not be used other than for personal use. However, by following along you can enjoy learning some new techniques and approaches to art that you can apply in your own art practice.

Yes, you can cancel at any time. There is no obligation to stay for a minimum period of time.

Yes, absolutely! You would be very welcome to rejoin but you will have to wait until the next enrolment. If the membership has increased in price your subscription will reflect the new price.

All are welcome! The lessons are designed in such a way that beginner and advanced watercolour artists will benefit. Beginners are especially welcome, and we’ve created a friendly, low-pressure environment where you can learn and improve at your own pace.

Even if watercolour isn’t your main medium, the membership is still valuable! The techniques we cover, like composition and colour theory, apply across many forms of art. Plus, exploring floral art can inspire your practice in any medium.
